A child may be enrolled in any combination of components listed below (not all sites offer all components).

BEFORE SCHOOL: Child care is offered from 6:30 a.m.* to the start of the school day. This is an informal time of self-directed and structured activities. (Breakfast may be purchased from the breakfast program at the childs school.)

EXTENDED KINDERGARTEN: Extends the half day kindergarten program to a full school day of care. Parents may enroll children from the end of morning kindergarten until the end of the school day, or from the beginning of the regular school day until the beginning of afternoon kindergarten. Children bring a bag lunch or purchase school lunch. Enrichment activities, such as arts/crafts, music, story time, and games, are offered as well as choice time and rest time.

AFTER SCHOOL: Child care is offered from the end of the school day until 6 p.m.* This is a time for the children to unwind, have a nutritious snack and socialize. Projects, academic enrichment activities, and exercise are offered during this time.

SCHOOL RELEASE: Child care is available from 6:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.* on school release days. These days include: conferences, teachers meetings, compensatory, and inservice days. These days are often used for field trips. Breakfast and afternoon snack is provided; parents must send a lunch and beverage. Enrollment is optional.
